IntuitiveDecor8 came to life because of my long time
passion for astrology, love of home decor and belief in intuition.
I believe in the power intuition and how it can help guide us in
our lives. Being a curious Leo, fueled my "fire" for astrology.
We all have an intuition. You know, that gut feeling?
We all continue to redecor8 our lives by continuously
growing and changing through all of life's challenges and joys.
It is only by these challenges and helping each other that,
sometimes the greatest gifts arise.
My interest in home decor led me to Feng Shui,
a passion I have had for many years. I decided to take my
fascination with Feng Shui to a new level by studying with
a teacher. Feng Shui brings a unique flavor and
understanding to our surroundings and the elements that
are found in nature. There is also a flavor of astrology to it.
When my first son was born in the month of July and is a
Cancer or Watery Moon Child, my life completely transformed.
I found my true love in life! Being a mom! When my son was
about 2 years old I came across a book based on children's sun
signs. That reignited an interest that I had years before in
astrology.
I began learning everything I could about my child's sun sign.
I was amazed at the information. From that moment on, my
desire was to learn everything I could about this fascinating
subject. My youngest son was born in one of the other water
signs, Scorpio . It was fascinating, for me, to see the accuracy
that astrology brought to their personalities.
Astrology is a lot more than just one's Sun. The Moon,
ascendant and other planets and placements of those planets
all have a very important part in the play of one's chart.
I learned as much as I could and in time, began doing
readings and charts for friends and family. I enrolled in
astrology courses in 2001 at the Astrological Institute in
Arizona. Astrology has become and remains to be a fascinating
and passionate partof my life. I hope it brings some light into
your lives, too!

When the Moon is in Sagittarius
The Moon is at her most optimistic and upbeat in Sagittarius. We are motivated by a need to seek the truth, and we are ready to pursue a new vision. We are not interested in details just now. Instead, we focus on the big picture. New experiences and adventures satisfy a deep emotional need. Spontaneity is the key. We may also be inclined toward overdoing and overstating. We don't want to plan ahead, and prefer to "wing it".
The Moon moves into the hard working, Earth sign of Capricorn at 10:14 AM MST. Capricorn Moon can get a bad rap due to it's unemotional nature. It actually is a very emotional sign just does not wear it's heart on it's sleeve like some of the other signs. Things of a practical nature, our jobs and careers may become more of a focus these next 2 1/2 days. If there has been a struggle in making a decision recently, this time with the Capricorn Moon may make it easier. This Moon is grounded, realistic and dependable.
SUN IN PISCES MONTH
February 19-March 20, 2010
The Sun enters Pisces today and will stay in the sign until March 20th. With the Sun in Pisces, we are guided by altruistic feelings. We are less direct and quick to act, and more motivated by our instincts. A "what will be, will be" attitude reigns, and we are guided by a sense of universal correlations. Pisces rules empathy, selfless love, devotion, and wisdom. Its shadow side rules self-pity, a feeling of being victimized by life, passivity, and elusiveness. Pisces is mystical, spiritual, metaphysical, expect this month to be made more aware of the subtler forces on earth. Or, maybe those of other worlds? Neptune, God of the Sea, is the ruler of Pisces. In astrology, Neptune is considered a planet of inspiration, dreams, psychic receptivity, illusion, and confusion. Neptune rules spirituality, and all things subtle. A youthful, and sometimes naive, spirit characterizes those with a strong placement of Neptune in their natal charts.
Venus is in Aries from March 7-31. With Venus in Aries, love is spontaneous and direct. The chase is very exciting to us under this fiery influence. We are bold, fresh, and a little impatient when it comes to matters of the heart. We don't look back with Aries energy. We are not interested in saying sorry or dwelling on the past. It's a brand new day! It's time to make things work right now. Aries is known for a love of the chase and the conquest, but Aries love can be longstanding as long as it remains relatively fresh. Aries is blunt--there's no sugar-coating with Aries. This can sting, but rarely is Aries energy mean or petty. Saying it like it is is important to Aries. Desires are strong and expressed spontaneously, enthusiastically, and directly. Aries prefers to seduce rather than be seduced, to chase rather than be chased.
