Connect the stars: Astrology, Feng Shui, Intuition

Desiree-What's Your Sign

If any one has recently asked you...What's your sign? They are usually wondering

what your Sun sign is. Wait, do people still ask that question? Seriously.

In other words, the month and day of your birth, determines your sun sign. The birth

time and place will give us the WHOLE chart. Your moon and ascendant are just as

important as the sun sign. In fact, the whole chart is important.

Did you know that you are much more than your

sun sign.

If astrology is something you are interested in, this website is a

great place to learn a bit about this fascinating subject! There are

many informative web sites on the subject.

Astrology is the mysterious connection between

spirituality and science. An astrological chart is a map of

you and the unique energetic influences of the planets at the

time you were born.

Each one of us has every planet in our chart, just

arranged a bit differently. Which is why each person's

chart is unique.

Did you know that astrology has been around for

thousands of years?

By observing the stars and the influence that their placement,

(at the time of birth) has on a persons chart, an astrologer will

find certain themes in one's life. Some people think

astrology is used to predict the future. Astrology is not fortune

telling, it is considered more of a science.

An astrologer may be able to offer some knowledge to

help you to understand how the planets are influencing

you presently. This is called a progressed reading.

Can astrology predict the future? It can show the planetary influences

but it is my personal opinion that it will never tell us exact future events.

We are all blessed! We see the stars at night, the sun

warms us during the day.The planets, (although we can't

see most them with the naked eye), also have an

influence.

It has been proven that the different phases of the Moon

have an influence on human emotions, on weather,

the ocean, why wouldn't the other planets? Whatever

you believe, the sun, moon, stars have

been around since the beginning of time. (Genesis 1)

Most of us have heard of both astronomy and astrology.

Remember, astronomy and astrology are different.

Astronomers study the physical nature of the universe.

Astrologers study the relationship between the planets and

the affects they can have on people individually or

collectively. To know the positions of the planets at any given

time requires the study of astronomy.

Data is needed to acquire the positions of the planets,

from the earth's perspective. This in astrology is called an

ephemeris. This data is used by an astrologer to construct

an astrological chart. You can go to our FREE astrology page

(below) and check it out for yourself.

On a clear night, we can see thousands of stars and planets in

the skies. Nine of those are within our solar system. The others

we are unable to see because they are too far away! In astrology,

the planets we are mainly concerned with are, the Sun, Moon,

Mercury,Venus, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Jupiter, Neptune and

Pluto. We can trace, or follow the motion of these planets

(the Sun and Moon are called planets in astrology) through the

 Zodiac or Mazzaroth.

quote from...The hidden Treasures of the Ancient Qabalah by Elias Gewurz

God used the stars as an illustration of His promise to give Abraham an innumerable seed (Genesis 15:5). Thus, every time Abraham looked up at the night sky, he had a reminder of God’s faithfulness and goodness. The final judgment of the earth will be accompanied by astronomical events relating to the stars (Isaiah 13:9-10; Joel 3:15; Matthew 26:29).

“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. (Luke 11:9-10)
